Was your Vertex™ system not recommended?

Solar powered pumps are limited in size due to the cost of solar panels - we are working on developing larger solar pump systems. However, if you find that your heating needs exceed the solar pump capabilities of a single Vertex™ system and you want to continue with an installation you have the following options, consider:

  • Installing your collector array at a lower pump height to reduce the required pump lift and increase flow rates.
  • Using a solar blanket to substantially reduce pool heating needs.
  • Trimming trees which may shade your pool to reduce your heating requirements.
  • Building a wind break for exposed pools which will also reduce your heating requirements.

Sizing systems is difficult involving a lot of factors which we could get wrong.
